sans serif math in tables and siunitx

I want to know the easiest way to ensure that the content inside a tabular, including siunitx columns is set using a/the sans serif math font. The normal document is set in serif font. This approach shows some of my attempts: \documentclass[paper=a4, fontsize=11pt]{scrartcl} \usepackage{lmodern} \usepackage{amsmath} \usepackage{dcolumn} \usepackage{siunitx} \makeatletter % dcolumn column \newcolumntype{d}[1]{>{\DC@{.}{ ,}{#1}}l<{\DC@end}} % sans […]

I need to able to write two short lines of bold, centered, 12-point Times New Roman in an otherwise standard document (I’m using the book class with the 11pt option). Can anyone help me? Thoughts: Since I’m using latex + dvips + ps2pdf, it seems like the simplest way to handle this would be to […]

ß becomes SS in bibliography with BibLaTeX/Biber and XeLaTeX

Background: I am using BibLaTeX, Biber and XeLaTeX to write a book that contains a bibliography. Problem: When I compile the document, the “ß” are replaced by “SS” in the bibliography, as in the following: […]

LuaLaTeX: german special character ß with `newpxtext`

I use the font Palatino from the package newpxtext in combination with LuaLaTeX. With this package it is not possible to set the german special character ß directly: % Magic comments for TeXstudio % !TeX spellcheck = de_DE % !TeX program = lualatex \documentclass{scrartcl} %\usepackage{fontspec} % Font: Palatino \usepackage{newpxtext} \begin{document} Draußen währt am längsten. Drau\ss […]
